Two warriors, prisoners of mind and soul, Sat at the bottom of a deep dark hole. One said to the other we can escape I've no doubt. With what? asked the other. How can we climb out? |
By making our bodies in the shapes that we need, and trusting in goodness will help us succeed. But the walls are too high said his friend in despair. But not when my body makes the shape of a chair. |
The chair and a lunge brought both to the top, But what to do now when blocked by a croc. Fearing the snapping the creature did make, They both backed away to the side of a lake. |
Then becoming a boat whist they still had hope They frightened the croc with a thunder bolt. |
By forming a staff they pushed off from the coast, But the staff it did break and they lost the boat. So one saves the other by forming a plank, And bringing them safely back to the bank. |
They walked through the trees but got scared by a snake, That slithered and coiled and noises did make. By making there bodies in the shape of a bow, the cobra retreated so on they could go. |
When the moon was half full and a mountain they saw, They knew they were free and need run no more. |
So at the base of the mountain they happily sat Whilst there bodies transformed to a dog and a cat. |
They were now free of mind and both free of soul, Even though neither warrior had left the hole. So when came the day of their final release, Nobody could find them for they were at peace. |
